Job Description: 

Cedar Retail, within the Food & FMCG Strategic Business Unit (SBU), is seeking a creative and experienced Brand Manager to lead our brand Crosso. The Brand Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the brand, including production, sales, product development, and marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, preferably in Kerala, and a passion for driving brand growth and innovation. 

Package : CTC 12-15 Lakhs per annum


  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy to drive growth and increase brand awareness for Crosso products, including bread, bun, cookies, savoury Kerala snacks, millet-based products, cakes, and others. 
  2. Oversee the production process for Crosso products, ensuring quality control, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards. 
  3. Lead product development efforts to expand and enhance the Crosso product line, identifying new opportunities and consumer trends in the food industry. 
  4. Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to develop and implement sales strategies for Crosso products across various channels, including distribution through other stores, our own retail stores, online platforms, and direct sales. 
  5. Monitor sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for Crosso products, tracking progress against targets and implementing initiatives to drive sales growth. 
  6. Conduct market research and consumer insights to understand customer preferences and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. 
  7. Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and engagement, leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels. 
  8. Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners involved in the production, distribution, and marketing of Crosso products. 
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes related to the food industry, adapting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge. 
  10. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the Crosso team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration. 


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field. MBA preferred. 
  2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management, product development, or marketing, preferably in the food industry. 
  3. Deep understanding of the food industry, consumer behavior, and market trends, with a focus on the Kerala market dynamics. 
  4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. 
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  6. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for driving brand innovation and growth. 
  7. Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing campaigns. 
  8. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
