Job Description: 

Cedar Retail, within the Food & FMCG Strategic Business Unit (SBU), is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our culinary division, which includes Cafe Crosso and Crosso Live outlets currently. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service or hotel management and a proven track record of success in setting up and managing food outlets, introducing new products, and ensuring profitability. 

Package : CTC 12-15 Lakhs per annum

Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the culinary division including Cafe Crosso and Crosso Live outlets, to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 
  2. Oversee the operations of Cafe Crosso, a premium cafe offering a variety of food items such as burgers, pizza, shakes, and more, ensuring high-quality service, ambiance, and customer experience. 
  3. Manage the operations of Crosso Live, a small food joint primarily serving tea, coffee, kerala snacks like vada, banana fritters, and others, focusing on efficiency, speed, and customer satisfaction. 
  4. Lead menu development efforts for both Cafe Crosso and Crosso Live, introducing new and innovative food and beverage offerings to meet customer preferences and market trends. 
  5. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive foot traffic and increase sales at Cafe Crosso and Crosso Live outlets, leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels. 
  6. Manage inventory levels, procurement, and supply chain logistics for food and beverage items, optimizing costs and minimizing wastage. 
  7. Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for food preparation, service, and hygiene across all outlets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  8. Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability, for Cafe Crosso and Crosso Live outlets, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions as needed. 
  9. Identify opportunities for expansion and growth, including potential new locations or formats for Cafe Crosso and Crosso Live outlets, and develop a franchisee model for driving growth. 
  10. Identify opportunities for new culinary experiences/cuisines to develop more brand outlets within the culinary division. 
  11. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the culinary division, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 

Qualifications: 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred. 
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a similar role overseeing multiple outlets. 
  3. Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and customer service in a hospitality or food service setting. 
  4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. 
  5. Proven track record of driving sales and profitability in food service outlets, with a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. 
  6. Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance. 
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for driving innovation and growth in the food service industry.
