Job Description: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Head of Consumer Products & Solar SBU. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and overall management for our Consumer Products and Solar verticals, ensuring alignment with our mission to serve rural markets and communities.

Package : CTC 24 Lakhs per annum


  1. Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Consumer Products & Solar Energy SBU, overseeing all verticals and businesses within the unit. 
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share in both consumer products and solar energy segments. 
  3. Foster strong partnerships with renowned consumer product brands enabling rural distribution avenues for their products. 
  4. Collaborate with product aggregators, other network players and business to leverage rural networks, including microfinance institutions, credit cooperative societies, and others, to reach the last-mile customers effectively. 
  5. Lead the development and implementation of innovative marketing and distribution initiatives to expand market penetration and enhance brand visibility in rural areas. 
  6. Oversee the execution of rooftop solar energy projects for residential and commercial customers, ensuring high-quality installations and customer satisfaction. 
  7. Drive innovation and product development efforts to meet the evolving needs and preferences of rural consumers in both consumer products and solar energy sectors. 
  8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks, adapting strategies accordingly. 
  9. Manage budget and financial performance for the Consumer Products & Solar SBU, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing profitability. 
  10. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred. 
  2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in consumer product brands, solar energy, or related industries, with a proven track record of success in senior management roles. 
  3. Deep understanding of rural markets, distribution channels, and consumer behavior, particularly in the context of emerging economies. 
  4. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. 
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 
  6. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, evaluate performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions. 
  7. Entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking, with a passion for driving innovation and growth in a dynamic business environment. 
  8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
